Melissa Lamborn, Owner and Artist, stumbled upon the bead world by accident.  While attempting to perfect the French knot for a Cross Stitch project Melissa could never get the knot to stay.  Remembering that somewhere she read where a small seed bead may be used in its place Melissa headed to the craft store, picked up a bead magazine and the rest is history.  That was about 8 years ago and Melissa has never looked back.  Needless to say the Cross Stitch project still sits unfinished somewhere in her packed Bead Studio.

While she admires and is inspired by fellow bead artists Melissa has never had any formal training or education in designing or art.  There are no BFA (Fiber Arts Degrees) or anything like that.  It’s pure passion for beading that drives her.

What you see here is the result of her devotion to the art of Beadwork. 

With the support of her husband Bobby and daughter Mia Melissa hopes to continue her bead journey for years to come.
